Safety Camp
Description:
Join us for this three-day camp of safety
learning while having a great time! Safety
topics will include fire safety,
internet safety, water safety, and much more! We'll
also see a K-9 demonstration and get close
to a helicopter! Children must
be entering grades 3-5 in September 2008. A graduation
ceremony and dinner will take place at
5:00pm on August 14th. Campers will be
randomly placed in groups. This camp
is by the Parks & Recreation and Police
Departments of New Hope and the West
Metro Fire-Rescue District. The camp
will be the same format as 2007.
Register early--space is limited. Register by October 6.
Crystal residents call to register for the
resident rate; otherwise you may register
here for the nonresident rate. Join us for

from the Zoomobile and a demonstration by a
police dog! Children must be in grades K and
1. Lunch, snacks, camp t-shirt and
graduation event are included. (Graduation
from 2:30-3 p.m.)

Half Pint Safety Camp
Description:
Join us for this one-day camp filled with
safety learning and fun! Safety topics will
include electrical safety, personal safety,
fire safety and more. We’ll also see animals
from the Minnesota Zoomobile and a
demonstration by a police dog. Children must
be in kindergarten or 1st grade. Lunch,
snacks, camp T-shirt and graduation event
are included. Space is limited.
Register begins mid-August and closes on
October 3, 2008.
